The University of Melbourne (UoM) Uplifing WIL in Science project was designed to engage students with more pathways across study programs in science and professional practise. This project required the design and creation of several digital graphics and assets for use in videos in their online learning platform.
AUDIENCE: 
UoM Environmental Science students and faculty.
Responsibilities: 
Graphic design, digital design, illustrations, infographics, video editing, motion graphics, implementation of all digital assets into LMS.
Tools Used: 
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, MS Office, Trello, Canvas LMS, H5P. 
This work included graphics for a video case study on PFAS chemicals in the environment, sampling and analysis process, and policy making incorporating perspectives from a range of experts and practitioners, designed to engage students.
Some of the graphics developed for the video included a typical ecosystem, designed to be animated to show the multiple origins and lifecycle of PFAS chemicals in the environment, using a similar landscape to the one students in this course would find familiar.
